Billy Ray came to us at 15 months old with a diagnosis of Down's Syndrome, Chronic Ear Infections and Malnutrition. He bloomed in health and developmentally quickly. He was the personification of cute and sweet, although active.
At 14 years old I sent that sweet little boy to school. He experienced a series of severe seizures and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. The seizures were caused by a medication reaction. The little boy who came home was a different child in the same body. He is a complex child. He experiences autistic like symptoms, is noisy and sometimes aggressive.
